If you allow it per course, students can ask to be excused (can’t attend) or to come late (arriving by a time) for one or more class days; you approve or refuse each one. The course report shows each student against the minimum — meets, below, can’t reach — as a PDF or Excel file, and “Warn the students below” sends each of them their own numbers.

- Turn on “Students can send requests” (off by default).
